Sync Wix to QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave Apps

The accounting integration most Wix users have been waiting for.

Wix is a great storefront. Pulling Wix orders into your accounting software has never been straightforward — most solutions are paid-only, summarize transactions, or skip Wave entirely. SyncMyCart connects your Wix store to QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Wave Apps and posts every order, refund, and payout at the individual order level.

What gets synced

Orders

Every Wix order posts to your accounting software as an individual transaction — not summarized, not aggregated. You see the same orders in your books that you see in your Wix dashboard, line for line.

Refunds

When a Wix customer is refunded, the refund posts back to your accounting software automatically. Your books reconcile without manual adjustments.

Customers

Wix customer records sync to QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave so transactions are attributed to the right customer in your accounting software.

Tax, shipping, and discounts

Mapped to the correct accounts in your accounting software automatically. No manual line-item entry.

Duplicate detection

Built-in. Re-syncing the same date range will not double-post. Safe to re-run.

Free onboarding call

Every Wix customer gets a personal setup call with the founder. We configure your account mapping together so your books are right from day one.

Wix to Wave can be free

If your store is small, the entire stack — Wix + SyncMyCart + Wave Apps — costs nothing. SyncMyCart's Simply Free plan posts unlimited Wix orders to Wave (or QuickBooks, or Xero) as single-line receipts. Upgrade to Basic ($24.99/mo) for full itemized line items, refund posting, and payout reconciliation.

Wix-specific decisions made on the onboarding call

Wix has its own way of handling customers, orders, refunds, and payouts. The choices below are unique to Wix — most are decisions only you (or your accountant) can make, and we save your answers as a posting profile so they apply consistently to every order.

Wix customer naming

Wix orders carry first/last name, business name, or both. Which one becomes the customer record in QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave? Default is "first last" but accountants serving B2B clients often want business name first.

Wix order numbering

Wix order numbers can collide with your existing invoice numbering scheme in QuickBooks or Xero. Use Wix's number, prefix it (e.g. "WIX-1234"), or generate a new sequence? Affects how invoices look in your accounting system.

Address source

Wix gives you both shipping and billing addresses. Tax jurisdiction reporting (especially for US sales tax) depends on which one you treat as authoritative.

Wix Payments fees

Wix Payments deducts processing fees before payout. Post the fee as a separate expense line, or net it from revenue? Affects gross-margin and net-revenue reporting differently.

Tax line breakdown

Wix tax can be a single number per order or broken down by jurisdiction (state, county, district). Map to one tax account, or split by jurisdiction? Single-state stores prefer one; multi-state stores need split.

Refund posting

Wix refunds can be partial or full. Post as a credit memo (preserves invoice) or a refund receipt (clears it)? Your accountant likely has a preference based on how they reconcile.

Multi-currency rates

Wix supports multi-currency. Lock the exchange rate at order time or use the rate at payout? Locked-at-order matches Wix's reporting; payout-time matches what hits your bank.

Posting cadence

Real-time as orders complete, daily summary, or per-Wix-Payments-payout? Real-time gives detail; payout-batched reconciles cleaner.

None of this is exotic — it's the core of getting Wix-to-accounting right. We make these decisions on the 15-minute call so your books are correct from day one.

Wix-specific questions

How does SyncMyCart connect to Wix?

SyncMyCart connects to Wix using their OAuth flow. You install the app from the Wix App Market, approve access, and your store is connected. SyncMyCart never sees or stores your Wix password.

Is Wix a beta integration or production-ready?

Production-ready. Wix order posting, refund handling, and customer sync are tested end-to-end and in active use. The Wix integration is at feature parity with the Shopify integration for the core sync paths.

Can I sync historical Wix orders, or only new ones going forward?

Both. New orders sync automatically as they come in. Historical orders can be backfilled using SyncMyCart's order migration tool — useful if you are switching accounting software or starting on SyncMyCart partway through your fiscal year.

Does SyncMyCart sync Wix Payments payouts?

Yes, where Wix exposes the data. Payout reconciliation matches Wix Payments deposits to the orders that funded them, so your bank account in QuickBooks (or Xero, or Wave) balances cleanly without manual spreadsheet work.

What about Wix's built-in QuickBooks integration?

Wix's built-in option is single-direction summary posting. SyncMyCart does per-order detail, refund handling, customer sync, payout reconciliation, and supports Xero and Wave in addition to QuickBooks. Different tools for different needs — SyncMyCart is the right answer if you want full transaction visibility in your books.

I have Shopify and Wix. Can I sync both to the same QuickBooks?

Yes. SyncMyCart supports multi-store accounts. Connect both your Shopify and Wix stores to a single SyncMyCart account, and orders from both flow into the same QuickBooks (or Xero, or Wave) company. Useful for merchants migrating from Wix to Shopify, or running both side by side.
